Ways of working

Commissions

Every commission is shot by the founding crew — never a second unit.

01

Campaigns

Season campaigns directed like short films: treatment, casting, set, and a suite of stills cut for print, OOH, and social. One point of view from first deck to final grade.

From €18,000
02

Lookbooks

Forty looks a day without losing the light. Clean, consistent frames that let the collection speak — in the atelier or on location.

From €6,500
03

Editorial

Stories for print and digital titles, pitched or commissioned. Frames editors run as shot — the crop is the layout.

Scoped per story
04

Motion

Campaign films, runway cutdowns, and fifteen-second verticals that move like the clothes do. Directed, shot, and graded in-house.

From €12,000

The studio

The atelier

Noirframe began in 2012 in a borrowed atelier off Rue Saint-Sabin, with one conviction: a garment photographed still is a garment half seen. A hundred and twenty editorials and forty-six campaign seasons later, the crew is still deliberately small — one photographer, one stylist we trust, light that takes a side.

Two addresses, one standard. Paris for the ateliers and the shows, New York for the campaigns; a contact sheet within forty-eight hours wherever the set is. No second units, no house style applied by committee — the person you brief is the person behind the camera.

After the shoot

The contact sheet arrived forty-eight hours after the show and three frames ran as spreads, uncropped. They shoot the way editors think — you can feel the layout inside the frame.
Louise Andrieux, fashion director, Revue Nord
One day, twenty-two looks, rain from four o'clock. The film they cut from that wreckage still opens our shows two seasons later. There is a reason half the Paris calendar asks for their light.
Mateo Ferran, founder, Casa Ferran
They killed our moodboard on day one and photographed the collection the way it actually moves. Sell-through on the hero pieces doubled by week three.
Ingrid Solberg, creative director, Solberg Atelier

Before you book

Rates, rights, and timelines — answered the way we answer on the phone.

What does a shoot day with Noirframe include?

A pre-lit set, the founding crew, and a shot list built from your treatment the week before. We average thirty to forty looks a day on lookbooks and eight to twelve final frames on campaign days — the difference is intention, and we'll tell you which you need.

How are usage rights licensed?

Campaign quotes include two years of print, digital, and OOH usage in agreed territories; lookbook and e-commerce work is licensed in perpetuity. Extensions are priced up front, never discovered later.

Do you travel outside Paris and New York?

Constantly — Marrakech, Seoul, and the Hebrides in the last year alone. Travel is billed at cost with a day rate for the crew; worldwide is not a figure of speech.

Can you produce casting, styling, and set?

Yes — full production through our own network: casting directors, stylists, hair and makeup, and set builders we've worked with for a decade. Bring your own team or borrow ours; most brands do half and half.

How fast are selects and finals delivered?

A contact sheet within forty-eight hours of wrap, selects within five days, retouched finals within ten. Motion cuts follow at two weeks. Seasons don't wait, and neither do we.
