Who's drawing
I started drawing gig posters for bands who paid me in door money, and honestly the brief hasn't changed much: make people stop walking. Since then the posters became album art, the album art became animation, and the door money became a real studio practice — but every job still starts on paper, with markers, before anything touches a screen.
I work solo, which means the person you email is the person who draws. Projects run in two-week sprints with a sketch round, a color round, and a final round. I'm fast, I'm honest about what I'm wrong for, and I will absolutely talk you out of a safe idea.
Receipts
“We asked for 'fun but not childish' and got the single most-shared post in our label's history. Ollie's first sketch was the final concept.”
“The mural turned our entry hallway into the most photographed wall in the building. Sketch to paint in three weeks, zero drama.”
“Fast, funny, and ruthlessly professional about deadlines. The animation loop ran our whole launch campaign and still holds up.”
FAQ
Starting prices are listed with each service, and every quote is fixed before work starts — usage, rounds, and deadlines included. Rush work exists; it costs rush money.
Every project includes a sketch round and two revision rounds. Most work lands inside them — big direction changes after sketch approval are re-scoped honestly instead of resented quietly.
You get the usage we agree on in writing — most clients take exclusive commercial use in their channels. I keep the right to show the work in my portfolio unless we agree otherwise.
Yes. Sticker packs and spot illustrations are how half my favorite client relationships started. The only projects I decline are the ones that want someone else's style.
