Before your first visit
Insurance, scheduling, and what to bring.
Do you accept my insurance?
We accept most major PPO and HMO plans, Medicare, and Minnesota medical assistance. Call our front desk with your member ID and we'll verify your coverage before your first visit — and we offer transparent self-pay pricing if you're uninsured.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes — new patients of all ages are welcome, and most can be scheduled within one week. Book online or call us, and we'll help transfer your records from your previous provider.
Can I get a same-day appointment if I'm sick?
We hold same-day slots every morning for acute illness and minor injuries. Call when we open at 8:00 and we'll usually have you seen before noon, either in person or by video visit.
What should I bring to my first visit?
A photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications, and any recent lab or imaging results. Arriving 15 minutes early to complete intake forms helps us start on time — or complete them ahead through our patient portal.
Can prescriptions be refilled through telehealth?
In most cases, yes. Established patients can book a short video visit for refills of ongoing medications. Some prescriptions require an in-person check — we'll tell you before you book.
