Skin Fade
Tight blend from skin to length, detailed with a straight razor and finished with matte paste or pomade.
Hot Towel Shave
The full ritual — pre-shave oil, two hot towels, a straight-razor pass with the grain, and cold-towel finish.
Beard Trim & Shape
Line-up, length shaping, and a razor-clean edge on the cheeks and neck, oiled and combed out.
Cut & Shave Combo
The classic cut and the full hot towel shave, back to back in one sitting. Set aside a lazy hour and a half.
Kids' Cut (12 & under)
Patient, kid-paced cuts in the window chair — booster seat, cartoons on the tablet, lollipop on the way out.
About
The shop
The Brass Comb opened in 2016 in a hundred-year-old storefront on Woodland Street, and we kept everything worth keeping: the pressed-tin ceiling, the cast-iron chairs we restored bolt by bolt, and the idea that a barbershop should be the easiest hour of your week. There are three chairs and there will only ever be three — enough for Marcus, Della, and Ray, and never so many that your barber forgets how you like your neckline. Every cut ends the old way, with a hot lather neck shave and a splash of bay rum. First-timers get talked through the cut before a single clipper turns on; regulars barely have to say a word.
