The room
A room that keeps its voice down
We opened The Corvid Room in 2019 because New Orleans has a hundred places to get loud and precious few places to get quiet. The room is a former cellar — brick arches, a zinc bar salvaged from a shuttered hotel, and exactly twenty-two seats, because that's how many people one bartender can look after properly. There's no standing room, no televisions, and no menu QR codes; drinks are stirred over hand-cut ice and set down on linen. Our bartenders barrel-age their own vermouths, smoke their own bitters, and will happily build you something off-list if you can name a mood. A jazz trio plays Sunday evenings, brushes only. Come early, stay late, keep your voice down.

Is there a dress code?
Nothing formal — we ask for no beachwear, no athletic shorts, and no large groups in matching t-shirts. If you'd wear it to a good dinner, you're fine.
Do I need a reservation?
We hold half the room for bookings and keep the rest for walk-ins. Reservations open two weeks out and are held for fifteen minutes past your time.
Can I hire the room privately?
Yes — the full room is available for private hire Wednesday and Thursday evenings, with a bespoke menu and your own bartender. Email us with a date and headcount.
Is there live music?
A jazz trio plays Sunday evenings from 8 PM — brushes and upright bass only, quiet enough to talk over. No cover.
Is The Corvid Room 21-and-over?
Always. Bring a valid ID whatever your birth year — the doorman flatters everyone equally.
